Availability

The SAM II Financial System is routinely available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days a week. Exceptions to the routine include down times for fiscal year end processing. SAM II Financial is unavailable for approximately one week at the beginning of July for fiscal year end processing. Specific dates of downtime for FYE processing are included in the Fiscal Year End Accounting Procedures distributed annually to agencies by the Division of Accounting.

In addition on mornings following the regular SAM II HR pay cycle the SAM II Financial system may not be available until approximately 8:00 AM due to the SAM II HR/Financial (GL) interface. The HR regular pay cycle runs twice a month, approximately seven calendar days before the scheduled pay date. The exact date of each HR regular pay cycle can be found on the SAM II HR Payroll Processing Calendar on the SAM II website at http://www.mo.gov/mo/samii/hr/process_schedule.html.

The SAM II Financial Data Warehouse system is routinely available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week. The Financial Data Warehouse is available to users during month end and FYE processing even though the SAM II Financial production system is unavailable.

Notifications for deviations in the routine schedule other than those noted above are sent to the SAMII-FIN discussion list. Users can subscribe to the discussion list from the SAM II web site at http://modocs.intra.state.mo.us/modocs/lists.html.
